got the 412 running yesterday, the little bastard started right up. then kept running like a top as if it hadn't been sitting outside for years soaking up rain. i even took it around the neighborhood a couple times and it drives just like it always has, and everything works: steady idle, positive shifts, light steering, all the lights & switches... i expected much worse. i'm so glad i've held on to that car, it really puts a smile on my face.
next: take the engine out and find out where all the oil is leaking from...
